Ozzfest Is Coming Back to America in 2027 — Plus a Second Country TBA

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

Ozzfest is coming back to America in 2027 — and the "announcement" is a graphic with two flags and a question mark. Organizers confirmed U.S. and U.K. editions via the festival's own social accounts on Sept. 21, then asked fans where it should land: "Where are you hoping Ozzfest 2027 will pop up?" ^*, ^†† No city, no date, no bands, no tickets for either country ^†, ^§.

THE DETAILS

Teaser graphic shows Ozzy with the Ozzfest logo and the U.K. and U.S. flags, reading "Ozzfest will come to the UK and US" ^*, ^††
The U.K. edition has been pointed at Villa Park in Birmingham, where Ozzy played his final show on July 5, 2025 ^§, ^¶
Jack Osbourne says each edition is a single day, not a multi-day festival ^†
Booking is the hard part: Jack says big bands want "10 million dollars" now, though a slot is likely held for at least one unsigned act ^†
Sharon Osbourne says 2027 won't tour, with touring possible in 2028 if demand shows up, and she wants to "mix up the genres" ^†
Last U.S. Ozzfest: Dec. 31, 2018 at the Forum in Inglewood ^*, ^††

WHY IT MATTERS

COMEBACK: this is the first American Ozzfest in nearly a decade, and the first ever without Ozzy alive to headline it. What's genuinely odd here is that the brand is confirming a country before it has a city, a date or a single band — crowdsourcing the location in public.
