Metallica Bring Limp Bizkit + Avatar to North America Spring 2027

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

M72 was supposed to be winding down, and instead Metallica are pushing it into a fifth year with 12 North American stadium shows in spring 2027 ^¶¶. The big change: no No Repeat Weekend — one night per city, take it or leave it ^¶, ^§§. And Avatar are back after Metallica publicly thanked them for "raising the bar" on the European leg ^¶¶.

THE DETAILS

Opens May 8, 2027 at BC Place in Vancouver and closes June 19 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City ^†, ^‡‡.
Twelve cities, 11 U.S. and one Canadian, hitting San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Fayetteville, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Madison and Cleveland ^*, ^¶.
Still in the round at the 50 yard line, Snake Pit inside the stage ^‡‡, ^§§.
Mix of NFL/CFL stadiums, college fields and soccer grounds ^‡‡.
Fan club presale September 21, general on-sale September 25 at 10AM local ^§§.
The "I Disappear" multi-city pass returns for these dates only ^§§.
Follows the sold-out 24-show Life Burns Faster Sphere residency, which ends March 13, 2027 ^‡‡.

SUPPORT

Limp Bizkit and Avatar open all 12 dates ^¶¶.

WHY IT MATTERS

BUCKET LIST: one show per city means no second chances if you miss your date ^¶. For a band five years deep into one tour cycle, dropping the two-night format is the most surprising part of this.
