Faith No More posted an Instagram graphic showing their logo and "2027" over a crowd shot — the first public signal from a band whose frontman said he wasn't sure they even wanted him back *‡. Drummer Mike Bordin said in 2025 that Mike Patton had gone from "unable to do the shows to clearly being unwilling to do shows with us," and keyboardist Roddy Bottum called the band semi-permanently hiatus'd last fall before sharing the reunion image himself *‡.
