If Mustaine actually pulls off a space gig — even a publicity stunt on a suborbital flight — it would be the most absurd and fitting end for a band that’s spent four decades refusing to play it safe. The fact that he’s teasing it this hard while promoting a cancer survival memoir and planning a cruise he physically couldn’t do last time makes this feel less like hype and more like a 64-year-old thrash legend checking boxes before the clock runs out *.
