Amy Lee Discusses Evanescence with No Release Date for Sanctuary

WHAT THEY SAID

Amy Lee sat down to talk about Evanescence's sixth album, *Sanctuary*, and the creative path that led the band there. The frontwoman discussed her approach to building sanctuary through music in a Loudwire cover story published June 3 * and appeared on the AltPress: In Session podcast for what Alternative Press called an "expansive" conversation †.

THE DETAILS

  • Lee's media rounds focus on *Sanctuary*, Evanescence's sixth studio album †
  • The Loudwire exclusive ran as a cover story feature *
  • The AltPress podcast episode digs into the album's creative journey and what led the band to this point †
  • Both interviews dropped the same day, June 3 *, †

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Lee hasn't revealed a release date or tour plans for *Sanctuary* yet — the album's timeline remains unclear.
