Royal Blood’s new single ‘Swallow the Bomb’ is hitting different, Alien Ant Farm is back with a heavy new track, and Sponge is calling it quits with a final album – but not before we rehash their legendary (and sometimes terrible) live shows! 🤘
ROCK REPORT:
▸ The crew is hyped for Royal Blood’s new album and single “Swallow the Bomb,” with one host calling it more punk and heavier than expected.
▸ One host thinks “Swallow the Bomb” is better than Royal Blood’s last single, while another thinks both are equally good.
▸ The crew debates who discovered the Australian two-piece Rox Ferry, whose new song is “produced a little better” than their last EP.
▸ Alien Ant Farm’s new single “Gaslighter” is described as heavy, catchy, and like their old stuff with more aggression.
▸ The hosts reminisce about Alien Ant Farm’s “Smooth Criminal” cover turning 25 and seeing them live with Papa Roach and Disturbed.
▸ Alien Ant Farm’s first single “Reasons” off the new album was written by Rome from Sublime with Rome.
▸ Sponge is releasing their final album, “Recuerda tu muerte,” with the first single “Self-Inflicted Loss” already out.
