THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Ice Nine Kills wrote a batch of butchered Christmas carols for Art The Clown's Terror Tram at Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights, and now they are releasing them *. "A Very Vicious Christmas" lands digitally on November 9 through Fearless Records, eight tracks of standards rewritten with a real children's choir singing the gore *. The band also announced "Silver Scream 3: Every Flick In The Book" in the same rollout, with no date attached yet ‡.
THE DETAILS

- Spencer Charnas on the choir: "we weren't sure we'd find a children's choir whose parents would approve, but thankfully the spirit of the season prevailed" *
- The Terror Tram runs select nights through Sunday, November 1; Orlando gets Art in the Downtown Clowntown scare zone *
- "Silver Scream 3: Every Flick In The Book" announced with no release date confirmed ‡
WHY IT MATTERS
BUCKET LIST: the ride these songs were built for closes November 1, so hearing them in context is a one week window *. Most bands dump a holiday EP in December as filler, this one existed as theme park audio first and the release is almost an afterthought.
