THE DROP
Starset have dropped a new single called "t r a n s f u s 1 0 n" with an official lyric video out now *. It lands mid-tour, with the platinum-certified cinematic rock outfit currently working the direct support slot under Breaking Benjamin *.
WHAT TO KNOW
- New standalone single, no label, release date or parent album info has been announced *
- The spaced out leet speak title keeps the band's recent naming streak going *
- Lyric video is streaming now, no official music video mentioned *
- Starset are direct support for Breaking Benjamin, with Kami Kehoe also on the bill *
- The run goes October 2 in Las Vegas through October 24 in Bristow, Virginia, hitting Honda Center, Dickies Arena and Jiffy Lube Live among others *
THE TAKE
Dropping a single while opening arenas for Breaking Benjamin is smart timing, you get thousands of fresh ears a night. The missing piece is context: no album, no EP, no release framework, just a track and a lyric video, which makes this feel like a standalone shot rather than the start of a cycle.
