THE TAKE
A diss track with actual melodic grooves and Sergio Vega’s bass grinding underneath sounds like Quicksand doing what they do best—post-hardcore with teeth and purpose, not just nostalgia. Schreifels even admits “it could be me when I reflect / but it probably isn’t” ¶, which is the kind of self-aware jab that makes a callout track land harder than blind rage.
