THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Snot are actually finishing a record. The Santa Barbara crew have signed worldwide to BLKIIBLK, the metal imprint run by Mike Gitter under Frontiers Label Group, with an album targeted for summer 2027 — their first new full-length since the 1997 debut "Get Some" *¶. There's no title, no tracklist and no exact date yet, but they're in the studio and reportedly close to ten songs deep ¶.

WHY IT MATTERS
COMEBACK. A band that lost its singer in 1998 spent nearly three decades as a memory, then played Download, Graspop and Louder Than Life and sold out clubs on both continents before anyone signed them *. The surprising part is the label framing — Gitter flatly rejecting the "classic-album-and-then-we're-out" route *.
