Turnstile Taps Elton John, Dying Fetus, Hayley Williams for Never Enough: Versions

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

Elton John and Dying Fetus are on the same record. Turnstile announced NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS, a reimagined edition of their Grammy-winning 2025 album, and dropped it into the calendar for August 28th, 2026 — one week after the reveal ^*, ^†, ^**. Stereogum called it "the most Turnstile thing ever — an expected unexpected" ^†.

THE DETAILS

Out August 28th, 2026 via Roadrunner, with pre-orders already open ^†
Not a straight remix album and not a covers album — the band calls it a "reimagined album" ^†
Guests include Elton John, Dying Fetus, Hayley Williams, Julien Baker, Slayyyter, Blood Orange, Four Tet, A.G. Cook, Faye Webster, Alex G, Oklou, Shabaka and Mustafa ^*, ^§
Heavy Baltimore representation: Panda Bear, Angel Du$t, Nourished By Time, Dan Deacon, Brandon Woody and club figure Rod Lee ^†
No artwork, no tracklist, and no word on which guest lands on which song ^*
NEVER ENOUGH took Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance for "BIRDS" from five nominations ^*
The 16-date NEVER ENOUGH TOUR PT. 2 follows, running September 9th in Milwaukee through October 18th in Santa Ana, with local nonprofits at every stop ^*, ^§

SUPPORT

Curated lineups per city: Texas Is The Reason, Ceremony, Hatebreed, Clipse, Vince Staples, Thundercat, Yves Tumor, Agnostic Front, Pennywise, Trash Talk, Die Spitz, Boy Harsher and Terror ^*, ^‡.

WHY IT MATTERS

BUCKET LIST — this guest list will never be assembled again, and Stereogum is right that this "may be the first and last time we get to hear Elton John and Dying Fetus on the same album" ^†. What's strange is the rollout: a Grammy-winning band pushing a full companion record with no artwork, no tracklist and seven days' notice.
