Bring Me the Horizon just dropped a re-recorded version of “Black & Blue” from their 2006 debut *Count Your Blessings*, now remixed by Buster Odeholm of Humanity’s Last Breath and Vildhjarta *. Oli Sykes says the band was never embarrassed by the original album—just disappointed with how it sounded coming out of the studio *.

If Odeholm’s thall production chops can finally give these songs the crushing low-end they deserved two decades ago, this could be the version fans actually return to. The original *Count Your Blessings* has cult status, but even the band admits it never sounded right—now they’re fixing it with someone who knows how deathcore should hit.
