Beatles Museum Opening at Iconic Rooftop Concert Location

Beatles Museum Opening at Iconic Rooftop Concert Location

The Beatles are finally getting the museum they deserve, and it's opening right where the magic—and the madness—happened. Apple Corps Ltd. just announced that The Beatles At 3 Savile Row will open its doors in 2027, taking over all seven floors of the legendary Mayfair building that served as the band's headquarters back in the '60s . This is the first officially licensed Beatles museum, which matters because while other Beatles exhibits exist across Great Britain, none have had the blessing of the band and Apple Corps . The location couldn't be more perfect: this is where Let It Be was recorded and where John, Paul, George, and Ringo played their final public concert on the rooftop on January 30, 1969 *.

The museum isn't messing around with the fan experience. Visitors will get access to previously unseen material pulled straight from the Apple Corps archives, walk through a recreation of the original Let It Be recording studio, and—here's the big one—actually stand on the rooftop where that iconic 1969 performance went down . The railings are still the same ones from '69, which is the kind of detail that'll give hardcore fans chills . Peter Jackson's Get Back documentary brought that rooftop concert back into the spotlight, and now fans will be able to stand in the exact spot where the Beatles shocked London and stopped traffic for their impromptu final bow . The museum will also feature rotating exhibitions and a fan store, because of course it will .

This announcement comes at a time when Beatles fever is running hot again. Apple Corps CEO Tom Greene confirmed a second Beatles experience is already in development, though details are still under wraps . Meanwhile, Sam Mendes is directing a four-film authorized Beatles biopic set to hit theaters in April 2028, with Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr . And if that wasn't enough, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr just dropped their first-ever duet together, "Home to Us," ahead of McCartney's album The Boys of Dungeon Lane dropping May 29th and Starr's recent album Long Long Road . The Beatles legacy isn't just alive—it's everywhere.
