THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Alter Bridge is bringing the What Lies Within Tour back to the States this fall with 18 dates and a solid double bill underneath them *, †. Big Wreck and Tim Montana will open most nights, though Kansas City gets Alter Bridge solo and two stops drop Montana from the lineup ‡. It's the second U.S. leg supporting their self-titled eighth album that dropped in January *, †.
THE DETAILS
- Tour runs November 5 in Philadelphia through December 5 in Reno *, †
- Tickets go on sale Friday, May 29 at 10 a.m. local time with pre-sales earlier in the week *, ‡
- Artist pre-sale is live now using code WHATLIESWITHIN via Ticketmaster ‡
- The self-titled album came out January 9 via Napalm Records with 12 tracks recorded at 5150 Studios in California and Michael Elvis Baskette's studio in Florida †
- Routing hits Silver Spring, Buffalo, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Kansas City, St. Louis, San Antonio, Anaheim, Portland, Seattle, Spokane, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Wheatland *
SUPPORT
Big Wreck and Tim Montana open most dates; two shows feature Big Wreck only, and the November 15 Kansas City stop is Alter Bridge with no openers ‡.
WHY IT MATTERS
SKIP IT if you caught the first leg earlier this year — same album cycle, similar setlist expectations, and the routing suggests they're filling gaps rather than building momentum. The Kansas City solo show is the only wrinkle here, and even that feels more like venue logistics than a special event.
