About
I have been an active member of the music scene for as long as I can remember. I took particular interest when my Dad bought an electric guitar, and started playing songs I was familiar with on the radio. He then introduced me to his vinyl collection and I discovered bands like Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Van Halen. Tack on MTV's constant rotation of Headbanger's Ball, 120 Minutes, and other shows that featured artists I liked, I did a deep dive into as much of it as I could. I've been a singer/guitarist for over 30 years, and have been in a number of bands over the years. My current project is a cover band in central Indiana called Midlife Crisis. Although I have slowed down my concert attendance due to rising costs and time requirements, I still go as often as I can. As of spring of 2026, I have attended over 160 shows in my lifetime.

Best Show Ever
It's really hard to pick one, but there are a few that stick out--seeing Green Day in 2004 during the American Idiot tour in Cincinnati was one of the best. Every Metallica show is a sight to behold. Tool's Fear Inoculum tour stop in Louisville was incredible.
