The video leans into the joke, riffing on the Spike Jonze clip and stacking cameos from Tony Hawk to Rob Riggle and Rob Huebel as label execs *†.
WHAT TO KNOW

THE TAKE
A song that rewrites "Sweater Song" while complaining about being asked to rewrite "Sweater Song" is either very clever or exactly the problem — Weezer have earned skepticism on both counts. But live drum takes with all four in a room and Kenny Beats chasing violence is a genuinely different setup than the SZNZ laptop era, and Cuomo and Wilson co-writing for the first time since 1994 is the detail that actually matters here.
