Anthrax have dropped "Everybody's Got a Plan," the third single from *Cursum Perficio*, out September 18 via Megaforce in the US and Nuclear Blast in Europe *‡. It's their first studio album in ten years, following 2016's *For All Kings* ‡.

Mid-paced with arpeggios and minor-key hooks isn't the "punch people in the face" record Scott Ian promised * — it's the mature Anthrax lane, and Ruston knows how to make that land heavy. Benante calling it a longtime favorite of his on the album *‡ carries weight from the guy who wrote most of it; the tell will be whether that Donais solo is a real moment or decoration.
