THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Slipknot are papering the planet with S logos and pointing everyone at a September 28 reveal — nothing is confirmed beyond the date itself †, §. Meanwhile Corey Taylor quietly booked a small room in Las Vegas for October, which is the only show here you can actually buy a ticket to *.
THE DETAILS
- Taylor plays an intimate solo set at Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas on Sunday, October 18, with tickets already on sale via Smashmagpresents.com *
- Cryptic posters turned up in at least 10 cities across the UK, US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina, carrying the address unlock.slipknot1.com, which displays 09.28 §
- Wembley Stadium's Instagram posted the Slipknot logo, the date 09.28.26 and the line "If you're 555…" from "The Heretic Anthem" §
- Reporting frames the campaign as pointing toward 2027 touring — no dates, venues or releases confirmed †, §
- Recent single "Arsenal" was the first Slipknot music with drummer Eloy Casagrande and the first since Sid Wilson's exit *, §
- Jim Root says the band has been working with producer Matt Wallace §
WHY IT MATTERS
BUCKET LIST. Taylor scrapped a 2024 solo tour over mental health and now caps himself at two and a half weeks away from home * — small rooms with him in them are finite. Odd that the guy fronting a stadium teaser campaign is the one playing a club.
