WHAT THEY SAID
"What is ours is here, and here alone." † Sleep Token, a band that almost never speaks publicly, put out a statement denying any affiliation with outside musical projects using their name, or with anyone using the name to promote one †, ‡. They did not say who prompted it †.
THE DETAILS
- Louder Sound reported on October 19, 2026 that the statement says nothing carrying the Sleep Token name is endorsed unless it comes from the band †.
- Metal Injection, same day, tied the statement to promo material billing a new act as the work of a Sleep Token "co-creator" ‡.
- Fans on Reddit have pointed at Arcus, a project that surfaced a month earlier via a YouTube teaser †. As of October 19, 2026, Arcus' bios made no Sleep Token claim †.
- The band has been quiet through 2026, with no new music since Even In Arcadia and no shows since Crypto.com Arena in LA on October 11, 2025 †.
- Rock Feed also covered the stance in a video report *.
