THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Amira Elfeky is dropping her first full-length while she is still in the middle of a European run opening for I Prevail, and she is not easing into it. "It Was Only A Dream" lands November 13 through Anemoia Records and Atlantic, with opening track "Breakdown" already out and framed as chapter one of a trilogy ‡.
THE DETAILS
- Debut full-length "It Was Only A Dream" arrives November 13 ‡
- Released via Anemoia Records and Atlantic Records ‡
- Follows her 2025 EP "Surrender" ‡
- "Breakdown" is out now and opens the record, described by Rock Sound as shoegaze-leaning and hypnotic ‡
- Elfeky on the single: "It's about wanting to change, but being too exhausted to take the first step." ‡
- Revolver has a limited vinyl edition bundled with a collectors zine, pre-orders open through its own shop †
- Cover art was shared with the announcement ‡
SUPPORT
She is currently supporting I Prevail across Europe, and the two recently teamed up on "Paradise" ‡.
WHY IT MATTERS
BUCKET LIST: catching her in an opening slot on a club-to-arena support run is a window that shuts the second this record does its work. The surprising part is the vinyl and zine package landing before most people have heard more than one song.
