Slash Drops Flying Blind Album & Massive 2027 World Tour With Myles Kennedy

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

Slash didn't labor over this one. The title track to Flying Blind came out of a riff he threw down at a pre-production rehearsal, and the whole record was tracked largely live ^*. "It's a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock 'n' roll record. It's very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw," he says ^*.

THE DETAILS

• Fifth album from Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, out February 26 via Gibson Records ^*
• Follows 2022's 4, with Michael "Elvis" Baskette producing again at Studio Barbarosa in Florida ^*
• Twelve songs, opening with Avarice And Greed and closing with Stem The Flow ^*
• Also on board: Good Time Girl, Thrill Seeker, Sweet Kill, Here In Babylon, (Don't) Thread The Needle and Rev My Heart ^*
• Title track is the lead single, with an official video out now ^*†
• The 2027 world tour opens April 2 in Santiago, Chile, then Argentina and Brazil ^*
• North America runs late April into May, including two nights at The Wiltern and Nashville's Ryman ^*
• Europe covers June into late July, ending July 26 at Rockstadt Extreme Festival in Romania ^*

WHY IT MATTERS

BUCKET LIST: a Ryman show and a Cardiff Castle show on the same tour is a strange, great pairing ^*. "As long as there's electricity, we'll keep plugging in," Slash says ^*.
