THE DROP
We Came As Romans have dropped "Dead Silent" with Make Them Suffer guesting, video and all *, †, ‡. It is one of only four brand new songs on All Is Beautiful… Because We're Doomed: Circularity, out November 6 via Sharptone, an album otherwise built from reworked versions of already released material *, ‡.
WHAT TO KNOW
- "Dead Silent" lands alongside an official video *, ‡.
- Circularity collects reworked older songs with guests from Dayseeker, After The Burial, Currents, Bury Tomorrow and Ladrones, among others *.
- The unreleased tracks are "WHEN EVERYTHING IS STILL", "BORN FROM NOTHING", "SPEAK TO EXIST" and "DEAD SILENT" *.
- Described as having trade-off vocals, bouncing riffs, melodic clean sections and a breakdown ‡.
- Dave Stephens says the song is about breaking destructive patterns and rebuilding *, ‡.
- The band is on the road in North America with Varials and Cane Hill, wrapping November 30 in Knoxville ‡.
THE TAKE
A rework album is a tough sell, so hanging it on four new songs and a stacked guest list is the smart play, and Make Them Suffer are the right partner for trade-off vocals. Stephens says the band had wanted that collab for a long time ‡, which makes the new material more interesting than the retreads around it. Four new songs out of a full record is the number fans should be looking at.
