Billie Joe Armstrong's punk side-project Pinhead Gunpowder is hitting the road this fall for a 12-date North American run — their first proper tour since ending a 14-year recording hiatus with last year's *Unt* *†. The band spent over a decade playing only for themselves in basements before deciding the world might want to hear what they'd been working on †. Now they're taking it out of the rehearsal space.
