THE DROP
PILLARS just dropped "Unforgiving Truth," the first single off their upcoming album, and they brought in serious firepower: Grammy-winning mastering engineer Alan Douches, whose 16,000-album discography includes Mastodon, Converge, and The Dillinger Escape Plan. Production and mixing came from Daniel Thabet at Liquid Studios, a facility that works exclusively in metal.

THE TAKE
When you're pulling a mastering engineer with Douches' resume and going to a studio that only does metal, you're making a statement about how seriously you're taking the sonics. The production pedigree here suggests PILLARS isn't messing around with their next record.
