Static-X Cancels 2026 Tour Over Health Issues

WHAT WENT DOWN

Static-X canceled all remaining 2026 tour dates on May 18 due to serious medical issues affecting one or more band members *†‡. The band did not disclose which member is affected or the nature of the condition *†‡.

THE DETAILS

  • The cancellations wipe out summer shows across Illinois, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Montana that were scheduled with Dope †.
  • Static-X played only two festival dates in 2026 — Welcome to Rockville in Daytona on May 8 and Sonic Temple in Columbus — before pulling the plug ‡.
  • The band stated the situation “is unavoidable and requires immediate attention” * and promised to return in 2027 *†‡.
  • The current touring lineup includes Tony Campos on bass, Ken Jay on drums, Koichi Fukuda on guitar, and masked vocalist Xer0 *.
  • Static-X released Project Regeneration Vol. 2 in January 2024 and has a documentary titled Evil Disco in production *.

THE TAKE
